A bomb just exploded within your heart and mind. This can’t be real and yet it is: Betrayal. You don’t know who to talk to or where to go. You do know you need to find a safe place to get away and allow yourself to adjust to the trauma that has changed your life forever. You need someone to help you process and understand the embarrassment, anger, anguish, confusion, pain; yet fear makes it difficult to decide who to confide in.

I offer a safe place to be alone and to get private counseling as you process the chaotic thoughts bombarding you and the overwhelming emotions that threaten to drown you: A private retreat is nestled in Northeastern Oklahoma. It is in the country surrounded by woods, creeks, and pasture land on the edge of a lake. Comfortable quarters are provided which include a private bath with washer/dryer, kitchenette stocked according to your food preferences, living room/bedroom combo with new furniture, reading materials, and TV. There is a pool, hot tub, walking trails, fire pit, gardens, and a private cove of the lake. Deer roam the property. It is serene and peaceful.

During your stay I am available to counsel with you several times during the day. The schedule is flexible to accommodate the times you need to talk and the times you need to be alone. I am a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist. I have been specifically trained by APSATS* to help with the relational trauma that results from discovering betrayal. This is the focus of my counseling practice. I understand and you are not alone.

If you are flying in, I will pick you up at the airport. The Tulsa airport is about an hour away.

Length of stay is generally from Friday noon until Tuesday noon. The all-inclusive cost is $1400. If you wish to extend your stay, the additional cost per day is $300. Stays can be lengthened, if accommodations are available. If you need a shorter stay, we offer a 3 day stay for $1100 or a 2 day stay for $800.

If you have a counselor at home that you are working with, I require a signed release so that I may coordinate care with your counselor.

Prior to accepting you as a client for the retreat, you must complete an application for approval and we must speak by video conference. This is to help determine if this is the right venue for your needs.

Please call with any questions you may have or to receive an application.
